For occasional breakouts acne spot treatment is key for obtaining clear skin. Whiteheads are best treated with acne spot treatments. I had no luck treating blackheads with spot treatment. In fact, I find if I use a spot treatment around my nose, chin or any highly blackhead clogged area my skin gets more irritated and starts to peel.

Using this product under makeup can be problematic. It is a acne spot treatment gel and when it dries it is shinny. Putting make up over it makes it look crusty. I used it twice a day and that is enough to clear up a nodule in a few days! I have had very little success using over the counter products to clear up cystic acne but this spot treatment works!
